Pøcket Cøncert – is a pocket-sized concert of experimental Brazilian music – planned to prepare for an international tour by Wilson Sukorski in 2025/6 – it is a single-band and multifaceted concert, with occasional visual events (via streaming with images projected on a screen), focused mainly on music, but with several other sign layers in addition to multimedia: that of the virtuoso soloist – via sophisticated instrumental performance. It is post-electroacoustic through ubiquitous interfaces – of synthetic singers, rockets and scientific sonification, or through haptic musical poetics resignified through unusual instruments and objects amplified and/or electronically transformed (cuíca / theremin / saw). All of this must also be portable and adaptable to the most diverse occasions and locations. Sounds complicated? It is pocket-sized.

a) Listen Up ! Music composed around the only sound recordings that exist outside of planet Earth: Venus, Mars and Titan (Saturn’s moon). In addition to other sonifications of stars, pulsars, neutron stars, etc. Accompanied by videos provided by the missions. The ears can be part of the investigation of the Universe. To relax… Please, Listen Up. b) Polyrhythmia Kind of collage of many rhythm voices and others sounds derivated from the popular instruments of brazilian‘s music, including (3:2) and sample manipulation and other more complex ones (17:13:7:5), for example. it ends with a long bass sequence (the bull‘s dance). To turn the head. c) Plato and the Cuíca Poetic and sonically defensible symmetry about the relationships between Plato’s cave and the cuíca instrument. Very amplified. d) Incerta Lux in the shadows an instrument becomes Light. Black Out music and flash effects. And a brand new instrument : LUCE. Tribute to Scriabin. e) Performance for musical saws and eletronics Polyrhythmic music for musical saws (played in extended mode). Virtuosic performance. And saw instrument explored to the limit. f) The Rocket‘s City Musical poetry about the greatest acoustic event ever built by man: rockets!! Reporting on unexplored acoustic spaces and possibilities. To the infinite and beyond.

Workshop : Brazilian Experimental Music in 2025
This workshop was part of the Sound Design course that I taught for a few years at the SP School of Theater. It is intended to provide insightful information and the perspective of someone who participated in the process – Wilson Sukorski is an active composer and experimental performer. The idea of the new as a driving force for creation; the interest in extended sounds; of aural and behavioral perspectives different from those offered/imposed by the Entertainment and Distraction Industry; the mere curiosity about what has already been done in the past by pioneers of various stripes. And finally the simple idea that the future of Music has not yet been reached, that it is constructed/deconstructed with each sound wave that strikes your consciousness like a bolt of lightning. An intense dive with a high information load.
